Our client a growing private consultancy is currently seeking dedicated planning consultants to join their esteemed team. The role is permanent and offers a flexible working arrangement, with a combination of in-office presence and work-from-home options. The focus of this position will largely be on commercial property projects, servicing one major client which forms the core of their business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and submitting planning applications for commercial property projects
• Conducting thorough site assessments and feasibility studies
• Collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure compliance with planning regulations and standards
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Attending meetings and providing expert planning advice
• Managing projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
• Negotiating with local authorities and other regulatory bodies
• Keeping abreast of changes in planning legislation and policy

Job Requirements:

• Experience in town planning, preferably within the commercial property sector
• Strong understanding of planning legislation and policy framework
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Professional qualification in town planning or a related discipline
