Our client, a leading organisation in the highway and transportation sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalising detailed design drawings and preparing PCI documentation.
• Overseeing the construction phase, ensuring all design queries are addressed
• Coordinating footway widening, installation of a new puffin crossing, and side road entry treatments
• Managing and agreeing Compensation Events (CE's)
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success

Job Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Valid UK driving licence for site visits
• Experience in all stages of design and construction of civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and modelling
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
