Our client, is currently seeking a Planning Consultant with a specialisation in Town Planning to join their team. This is a permanent position suited for individuals with significant experience in residential applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating town planning projects, with a focus on residential applications
• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
• Conducting site appraisals and development assessments
• Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
• Undertaking community consultations and representing clients at public meetings
• Collaborating with local authorities and private sector clients to ensure successful project delivery
• Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation and policy
• Preparing detailed reports and presentations

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in town planning, particularly in residential applications
• Strong understanding of planning processes and regulations
• Proficiency in preparing and managing planning applications and related documentation
• Ability to work effectively with both private and local authority clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
