Job description

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Pipe Welder to join our client for a contract-based role in our workshop located in Chepstow. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder to work on a range of pipe sizes and materials under ASME IX standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipe fabrication and welding to high standards
• TIG & MMA welding
• TIG & Flux Core welding
• Working with pipe diameters ranging from 1" to 36"
• Ensuring work meets P1 and P8 - ASME IX specifications
• Adhering to safety procedures and workshop best practices
• Potential for some site work

Requirements:

• Proven experience in pipe fabrication and welding
• Skilled in TIG, MMA, and Flux Core welding
• Ability to work with a variety of pipe sizes and materials
• Valid CCNSG, CSCS, or EUSR card
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specification

Contract Details:

• Duration: 3 to 6 months
• Rate: £30 per hour
• Location: Workshop-based in Chepstow
