Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and leading flood risk assessments and drainage strategy projects
• Developing flood risk management plans and providing recommendations
• Undertaking drainage design, modelling, and analysis
• Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and contractors
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving technical reports and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Contributing to business development activities and proposals

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in flood risk and drainage engineering
• Strong expertise in drainage design and relevant software
• Proficiency in managing and delivering complex projects
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• A comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
