Job description
Security level - The role requires you to obtain a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check.
BAE - Maritime Services is currently seeking a VHDL & Electronics Development Lead to join their team on a contract basis for 9 months. The role is based at the Broad Oak site and is full-time on-site, contributing to the Defence & Security sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and verification of VHDL code for FPGA devices.
- Provide technical leadership in digital electronics and hardware design.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality hardware solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Ensure all designs meet required specifications and standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and optimisation of existing hardware designs.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in digital electronics and hardware engineering.
- Proven experience with VHDL development for FPGA devices.
- Ability to act as a technical lead on design projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- BPSS security clearance.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site.
