Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-level professional expertise in the Transport Development Management team
• Offering technical advice and experience to support the team's Development Control work programme
• Performing planning application transport assessments, occasionally including site visits
• Collaborating with officers in planning, highways, structures, regeneration, housing, and other relevant departments
• Managing the impact of Planning Applications on the public highway efficiently
• Working one day a week in the office, preferably on Tuesdays, with some flexibility

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the transportation sector
• Proficiency in transport planning and assessment
• Strong technical skills and professional expertise in transport development
• Ability to provide detailed and accurate technical advice
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Strong organisational and task management abilities
