Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level professional expertise in the Transport Development Management team
- Offering technical advice and experience to support the team's Development Control work programme
- Performing planning application transport assessments, occasionally including site visits
- Collaborating with officers in planning, highways, structures, regeneration, housing, and other relevant departments
- Managing the impact of Planning Applications on the public highway efficiently
- Working one day a week in the office, preferably on Tuesdays, with some flexibility
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the transportation sector
- Proficiency in transport planning and assessment
- Strong technical skills and professional expertise in transport development
- Ability to provide detailed and accurate technical advice
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong organisational and task management abilities
