Job description

Available Positions:

• Interior Carpenter (Fit-Out) - 6-month contract (Hythe)
• Exterior Carpenter (Deck Fit) - Initial 2-month contract with potential for extension (Southampton)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior carpentry tasks, including fit-out of yacht interiors (Hythe site)
• Execute exterior carpentry work, including deck fitting and installation of mechanical components (Southampton)
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Adhere to all relevant marine and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in marine carpentry, specifically with fit-out or deckfit
• A strong understanding of marine industry standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.

Contract Details:

• Pay: £24 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella Co)
• Working Hours: Standard 40-hour week, 07:00 - 15:30
• Overtime: Available (one rate for all hours)
