Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the electrical works on large-scale data centre projects across Europe. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong electrical background and proven experience in managing complex construction projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Site Management: Management of site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the QA Manager, and Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the Project Team.
- Planning and Coordination: Preparing two-week look-ahead schedules, and ensuring labour requirements are met as per the project programme.
- Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of electrical works is maintained at a high level.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Managing sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedules and manpower trackers.
- Variation and Delay Management: Notifying project management of all variations and delays.
- Material Management: Ensuring all plant and materials are delivered and stored according to agreed specifications.
- Documentation and Close-Out: Assisting with the close-out of project items, including O&M manuals, punch lists, and safety and QA files.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all matters of compliance and governance are adhered to, including health and safety protocols, and completing weekly 'don't walk by' cards. Developing and implementing company procedures with the package managers. Ensuring change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
