Job description

Our client, a leading player in the maritime industry, is currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards across their operations.

Weekend Shift Friday - Sunday 7am-7:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, maintenance, and deployment of the SHE Management System, ensuring alignment with operational frameworks and international standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
  • Provide competent and comprehensive SHE advice to Line Leaders, empowering them to manage SHE responsibilities effectively.
  • SHE performance improvement activities, including risk management, audits, compliance reporting, and incident investigations.
  • Engage with regulators and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal, customer, and company requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management within a high-risk or complex environment.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and auditing SHE management systems in line with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in incident investigation, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
