Job description

Our client, a key player in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking an experienced EC&I Inspector with SC Clearance to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial to the safe and efficient operation of nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough inspections of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems
• Ensuring all EC&I components meet stringent quality and safety standards
• Preparing detailed reports on the condition and compliance of inspected systems
• Identifying any areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions
• Collaborating with engineering and safety teams to ensure ongoing compliance
• Providing technical guidance and support during inspections
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all inspections
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Current SC Clearance is essential
• Experience in EC&I inspection within the nuclear sector
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and reporting skills
