Our client, a renowned contractor in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing cost estimates for construction projects
• Managing and overseeing the financial aspects of ongoing projects
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
• Negotiating and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintaining accurate records of all project expenditures
• Providing advice on contractual claims and dispute resolutions
• Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the HTP sector
• Proficient in cost estimation and financial management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to conduct detailed risk assessments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
