Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Specialist in Digital Adoption for a contractual role. This position plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of advanced information systems and services within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and collaborate on the promotion, acquisition, development, and implementation of information systems and services.
• Promote the benefits of a unified approach to technology deployment for business enhancement.
• Facilitate open communication and the flow of creative ideas across innovation networks and communities.
• Support monitoring of the external environment and assessment of emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the creation of reports, technology road-mapping, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide specialised advice on technology planning and operations.
• Maintain knowledge in one or more specialised areas and collaborate with other experts as needed.
• Analyse market research, feedback, expert opinions, and usage data to understand opportunities.
• Develop product propositions and determine positioning for different customer segments.
• Anticipate changes in customer/user needs and adapt products accordingly.
• Create storyboards, wireframes, and dynamic prototypes for user interaction design.
• Consistently apply visual design and branding guidelines.
• Manage resolutions and actions, and disseminate relevant information.
• Engage stakeholders and develop customer relationships through effective communication.
• Create and maintain online platforms for promoting socialisation materials.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing through cross-departmental forums.
• Develop and execute socialisation campaigns to promote digital tools.
• Create communication materials to showcase digital tool features and functionalities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with at least two years of post-related experience, or extensive experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in leading technology adoption, change management, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with digital workplace technologies, such as M365, Webex, Skype, and Polycom.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to manage and resolve issues effectively.
• Proficiency in creating engaging communication materials and designs.
