Job description

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and management of traffic systems and highways in a North London Borough.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular inspections of highways and traffic systems to identify any maintenance or repair needs
• Planning and managing the implementation of maintenance and improvement programs
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
• Collaborating with other teams, stakeholders, and contractors to coordinate project delivery
• Providing technical advice and support on infrastructure-related matters
• Monitoring and analyzing the performance and efficiency of traffic systems
• Assisting with the investigation of traffic-related incidents
• Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and strategies

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in traffic and highway maintenance
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
• Understanding of traffic management principles and systems
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various locations as required
