Job summary

Our client, based in Titchfield, is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their well-established team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join as they prepare for a site move to a state-of-the-art facility in mid-to-late 2026.

Job description

CMM Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment and uphold high housekeeping standards as defined by client Standards.
  • Drive and sustain continuous improvement within the team.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T references.
  • Provide inspection cover across the site where required, working within defined procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct inspection and measurement of all types of supplies to ensure conformance with drawings and purchase order requirements.
  • Support quality-related investigations across departments.
  • Conduct First Article Inspection reports and monitor statistical process control data.
  • Perform and assist in investigations into non-conforming products using measuring equipment as needed.
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other specialist inspection equipment.
  • Sign off items as acceptable using an approved stamp.

Role Details:

  • This role will join a stable, close-knit team with minimal turnover.
  • CMM Operator experience is the minimum requirement.
  • Experience with PC-DMIS is essential; however, experience with Aberlink is not required.
  • Full external training investment in CMM programming provided
  • Progression opportunities available: Prior track record of promotions into the Quality Engineering team.

Hours & Overtime:

  • Flexible core hours: Start between 7:00 - 8:00 AM; finish between 3:45 - 4:30 PM, with an early finish on Fridays.
  • Regular Overtime available (Often after shifts in the evening, staying late on Fridays, or over weekends)
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x after 37 hours per week.
