We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on rail projects throughout London on an outside IR35 basis.

Job description
Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design:
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for rail building services, including lighting, power distribution, earthing, and fire detection systems.
- Produce detailed electrical designs, calculations, and technical documentation using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech).
- Develop electrical load calculations and power distribution designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Project Delivery:
- Manage the electrical design lifecycle from concept to completion, including feasibility studies, design development, and technical reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and contractors to coordinate design integration.
