Job description

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Modelling & Simulation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Luton. This role is integral to the Combat Air line of business, supporting the development of performance models for critical defence products such as Tempest and Typhoon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of performance models using tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
• Developing and maintaining SysML profiles, libraries, and model templates in Cameo System Modeller
• Engaging in technical discussions with suppliers and customers
• Reviewing system models to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Managing documents to support design review activities

Job Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Electronic Hardware Verification and Validation methodologies
• Proven expertise in Simulation and Modelling using MATLAB and SysML
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate technical discussions
• Experience with Product Data Management using tools such as Teamcenter, SharePoint, or Confluence
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Capability to obtain SC Clearance for UK-caveated programmes
