Job description

Our client, is currently seeking a Development Management Officer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in managing the planning and development approval process and ensuring that projects adhere to regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and assessing planning applications
• Providing expert advice on development and planning matters
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and local development plans
• Liaising with senior and principal planning officers to coordinate the planning process
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation for planning committees and stakeholders
• Conducting site visits and inspections as required
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and policy
• Responding to enquiries and providing excellent customer service to applicants and the public

Job Requirements:

• Experience in development management
