Job description

Our client are requires an experienced Pipelayer to work on a 6-month+ project in Norwich, supporting Anglian Water works. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals with a background in water, civils, or infrastructure projects to join a reputable client and contribute to the successful installation of essential pipelines.

Location:

• Norwich
• Working on Anglian Water sites

Scope of Work:

• Installing, aligning, and connecting pipes for water, drainage, and sewer systems
• Ensuring correct positioning and levels in accordance with project specifications
• Cutting and jointing pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
• Working alongside machine operators to ensure safe and efficient installation
• Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards
• Assisting with backfilling, compaction, and site reinstatement as required

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working on water, civils, or infrastructure projects (essential)
• Strong understanding of pipe laying techniques, trenching, and bedding materials
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and RAMS
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Confined Space certification is desirable but not essential
• Experience with Anglian Water processes or AMP projects is advantageous

Rates & Benefits:

• £200+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications
• Potential for contract extension based on performance

Duration:

• 6 months minimum, with the possibility of extension

Start Date:

• May 2025
