Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting inspections of streetworks sites to ensure compliance with New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) standards
• Monitoring and enforcing safety regulations for both drivers and pedestrians
• Reporting and documenting any violations or issues found during inspections
• Collaborating with contractors, utility companies, and local authorities to resolve streetwork-related issues
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections and follow-up actions
• Providing regular updates and reports to management
• Driving or walking to various inspection sites as required

Job Requirements:

• Experience in streetworks inspection or a related field
• Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA)
• Understanding of highway safety regulations and standards
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to drive or walk to various inspection sites
