Job description

Our client, a prominent entity within the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a Senior Project Professional - Delivery to join their team on a contract basis. This position, based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements, involves providing maternity cover for a duration of 10 months. The role primarily focuses on project delivery within the submarine solutions business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of improvement projects
• Overseeing short projects related to toolset and process improvement
• Handling material management and supply chain projects

Job Requirements:

• Experience delivering projects from start to finish
• Understanding of material management and supply chain processes (beneficial but not compulsory)
• Proven end-to-end project management experience

Industry Experience:

• Background in project management
• Experience supporting the delivery of projects, particularly within the Defence sector

Additional Information:

• This role is offered on a contract basis for a period of 10 months to cover maternity leave.
• The position is based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements (2 days a fortnight).
