Job description

This role is essential for developing and delivering comprehensive transport strategies that will shape the future mobility landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering area-based transport studies, including marketing, communication, and engagement
• Creating transport strategies, such as the clients Transport Strategy and contributing to the development of the WYLTP
• Contributing to the development of Mass Transit and the Southern Gateway
• Conducting strategic transport modelling
• Developing schemes, including business case development and input
• Supporting the development of the Local Plan
• Providing public transport advice on bus services, quality contracts, rail service and station development, and MRT development
• Offering transport policy input to planning applications

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in transportation planning
• Strong understanding of strategic transport modelling
• Proven ability to develop and deliver transport strategies and schemes
• Excellent communication and engagement skills
• Ability to provide coherent transport policy input to planning applications
• Experience in supporting the development of local plans
