Job description

We are seeking a Design-Based Project Manager to oversee and manage the consultancy side of the business, ensuring the successful delivery of traffic and highways maintenance projects. While not directly involved in design work, the role involves managing a portfolio of projects, coordinating with external consultancies, and working closely with the Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of traffic and maintenance projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between consultancies and internal teams.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Work closely with the Design Manager to coordinate outsourced design work.
• Monitor consultant performance and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare reports and updates on project progress for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project management within highways, transport, or infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder and consultancy management skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Knowledge of traffic and highways maintenance projects.
