Job description


Our client, a leader in the rail sector, is currently seeking a proficient E&P Construction Manager for a long-term contract based in the North West. This role involves key responsibilities within rail electrification and power distribution, providing an engaging opportunity for experienced professionals interested in substantial infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage resource allocation, including labour, plant, and material resources.
  • Implement and drive health and safety standards across projects.
  • Manage sub-contractors and liaise with additional stakeholders.
  • Deliver construction management duties on rail infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee sub-stations, power supply, and feeder works.
  • Utilise LV and HV experience to ensure project success.
  • Ensure effective delivery of E&P projects, driving work progress.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in rail electrification and construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of power and distribution systems within the rail sector.
  • Proven delivery experience on E&P projects.
  • Understanding of sub-stations, power supply, and feeder works.
  • Experience with both LV and HV systems.
  • Excellent organisational and resource management skills.
  • PTS certification is mandatory.
  • Valid UK driving license is required.
  • Electrical Engineering qualifications are preferred.
