Job description

Our client, a leading company in the rail sector, is seeking a E&P Project Manager for a long-term contract role, to be based in the Midlands or North West. This position is focused on the successful delivery of Electrical and Power (E&P) projects within the rail infrastructure sector and is inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead E&P projects, ensuring successful delivery of LV (Low Voltage), HV (High Voltage), and M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills on E&P projects, particularly within the rail industry.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
• Prepare project reports and communicate updates to senior management.
• Manage feeder routes and power distribution projects effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in E&P projects within the rail industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Expertise in managing LV and HV projects.
• Experience in M&E and power systems.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
