Job description
Our client, a leading company in the rail sector, is seeking a E&P Project Manager for a long-term contract role, to be based in the Midlands or North West. This position is focused on the successful delivery of Electrical and Power (E&P) projects within the rail infrastructure sector and is inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead E&P projects, ensuring successful delivery of LV (Low Voltage), HV (High Voltage), and M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills on E&P projects, particularly within the rail industry.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
- Prepare project reports and communicate updates to senior management.
- Manage feeder routes and power distribution projects effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in E&P projects within the rail industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Electrical Distribution Systems.
- Expertise in managing LV and HV projects.
- Experience in M&E and power systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
