Job description

Location:

• North London
• Various sites, primarily focused on streetworks and utility maintenance

Scope of Work:

• Removal and replacement of chambers and interceptors
• Excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement of trenches
• Ensuring compliance with Streetworks and Health & Safety regulations
• Working in confined spaces as required
• Liaising with site management and other trades to ensure smooth project progression

Key Requirements:

• Ganger/Lead:
  • Must hold a valid Medium Risk Confined Space certification (essential)
  • Streetworks ticket (essential)
  • SSSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven ability to manage and lead small teams effectively
  • Experience working on the Thames Water Framework (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance
• Operative:
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)
  • Streetworks (NRSWA) certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience working on the Thames Water Framework (preferred)
  • Experience with drainage, chamber work, and interceptor installations
  • Confined space certification is advantageous but not essential
