Job description

The Role

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Marine Engineer to join BAE Systems for an inital 12 month contract.

The ideal candidate will be a Marine or Mechanical Engineer who has a Naval, Marine or Seamanship background. The candidate will also be a Chartered Engineer or in the process of becoming Chartered.

The role holder will be part of a newly created Tiger Team.

Role Responsibilities:

For this role, each day may be completely different. The primary focus is Problem-Solving.

What BAE Systems are looking for from you:

• Marine or Mechanical Engineer.
• Marine, Naval or Seamanship background.
• Chartered Engineer or in the process of becoming Chartered.

Security Requirements: BPSS

This role requires you to obtain a basic disclosure along with employment reference checks before starting.

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
