Job description

BAE Systems is seeking a Trials Technician to join their team in Ridsdale. This is a contract position within the Land Business Unit, focusing on the defence discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting and overseeing trials and testing operations related to defence equipment
• Setting up and maintaining testing environments and equipment
• Collecting and analysing data from trials and providing detailed reports
• Ensuring all testing procedures comply with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimise testing methods and outcomes
• Operating in various weather conditions and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Maintaining accurate records of trials and adhering to security protocols
• Working closely with the team on-site to ensure the smooth execution of trials
