Job description


Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Improver to join an industrial project in Oxford. This role involves working on temporary power units, such as generators and transformers, in an outdoor heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining temporary power units including generators and transformers
  • Assisting with electrical installations and modifications on-site
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Performing inspections and troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely project completion
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols while working outdoors

Job Requirements:

  • IPAF Plus and IPAF certification
  • Experience as an Electrical Improver
  • ECS card
  • Proficiency in working with heavy industrial equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Contract Details:

  • Contract position based in Oxford
  • 9-hour workday with a 1-hour break
  • £20ph PAYE Only
