Job description

Main Duties:

We are seeking a Commercial Property Surveyor to support the Asset Manager on a contract basis. The key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing day-to-day investment portfolio activities related to commercial assets, including ground leases and directly let properties (primarily office and industrial sectors).

• Managing rent reviews, negotiating new lettings, lease renewals, regearings, and addressing all landlord and tenant issues. This includes processing applications for landlord's consent, surrenders, and dilapidations.

• Monitoring debts and managing income effectively.

• Providing estate management for multi-let properties, including managing service charges and budgeting.

• Conducting valuations as required.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• RICS-qualified General Practice Surveyor.

• A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property, with a strong understanding of commercial leases.

• Proven ability to manage a commercial property portfolio independently, providing professional advice on estate management matters.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

• Experience in the public sector is a plus but not essential.

• A full driving license is required; access to your own transport would be beneficial for fulfilling the role.
