About the Role:
As a Business Analyst within the Engineering function, you'll play a critical role in analysing, defining, and delivering user requirements for major customer initiatives. You'll work closely with technical teams and end-users to ensure solutions are tailored, practical, and aligned with real-world needs.

- Conduct detailed feasibility studies and scope analysis for new features and enhancements.
- Apply a range of techniques-interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys-to gather business and technical requirements.
- Analyse and validate collected information, distilling it into clear and actionable artefacts (e.g., functional specs, use cases, wireframes).
- Collaborate with developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to align business goals with technical solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between the customer and project teams, ensuring mutual understanding and delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Contribute to and support various testing phases including Integration Testing, UAT, and Functionality Testing.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in business or systems analysis roles, with formal training preferred.
- Strong background in modelling business processes, future states, and solution design.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as DOORS and the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Understanding of Agile and iterative delivery methodologies, and how they compare to traditional waterfall approaches.
- Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and delivery best practices.
- A proactive mindset with a track record of delivering value in fast-paced project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills-both technical and non-technical.
- Strong business acumen and a keen ability to quickly grasp customer goals and priorities.
