Job description

My client is currently seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves both planned and capital repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough surveys and assessments of properties to identify necessary repairs and maintenance requirements
• Developing and implementing detailed repair plans and strategies for both planned and capital projects
• Coordinating with different teams and contractors to ensure timely and efficient execution of repair works
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all surveyed properties, repairs and maintenance activities
• Ensuring all repair works comply with relevant regulations and health and safety standards
• Conducting site visits as required to monitor the progress and quality of repair works
• Providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders on the status of repair projects

Job Requirements:

• Experience in facilities management and building maintenance
• Strong analytical skills to assess and identify building repair needs
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordinating with teams and stakeholders
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to building maintenance and repairs
• Ability to perform site visits and inspections as needed
