Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the IT sector, is currently seeking a skilled Functional UK Payroll Consultant with expertise in Oracle to join their team. This role involves leading and supporting a payroll implementation for an existing client in the retail sector, starting immediately on a contract basis for a duration of 10 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support payroll implementation activities for an existing retail sector client.
- Conduct design workshops to gather and document payroll solution requirements.
- Configure Oracle Cloud HCM, including UK Payroll, Fast Formula, element design, and payroll process flows.
- Provide insights and configurations for absence management where necessary.
- Utilise OTBI reporting and SQL for payroll data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure payroll integrations are effectively managed and maintained.
- Maintain a strong understanding of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and related regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and problem-solving.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, particularly in UK Payroll.
- Proficient in Fast Formula configuration, element design, and payroll process flows.
- An understanding of OTBI reporting, SQL, and payroll integrations is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct design workshops and document payroll solutions.
