Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract, with a potential extension. This role is crucial for ensuring the success of various defence-related projects through meticulous systems verification, validation, and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing systems verification and validation (V&V) activities
• Managing systems engineering tasks throughout the full lifecycle
• Integrating complex systems, ensuring seamless operation within the defence environment
• Conducting systems tests to ensure compliance with specifications
• Providing comprehensive support on the right-hand side of the V-Model
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives
• Maintaining detailed documentation of systems engineering activities
• Ensuring all activities align with industry standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Experience in systems verification, validation, and testing
• Understanding of the systems engineering principles throughout the full lifecycle
• Expertise in integrating systems, particularly in the defence sector
• Background in electronics, networks, or electronic warfare (EW)
• Eligibility for SC clearance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
