This role plays a critical part in ensuring our electronic systems meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards worldwide. Reporting to the Chief Engineer - Electrical & Electronic Systems, you'll work collaboratively with Component Engineers, Test & Development (T&D), the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team, vehicle project teams, suppliers, and our Quality department to ensure all products achieve global EMC compliance.

As a Senior Engineer, you will also take on mentorship responsibilities, chair technical reviews, conduct peer reviews, sign off on work products, and at times, deputise for Lead Engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring EMC compliance across all electronic systems and components

  • Collaborating cross-functionally across engineering and quality teams

  • Supporting EMC validation activities throughout the product lifecycle

  • Providing technical leadership (Senior level) in reviews and approvals

About you - essential skills & experience:

  • BEng or MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or Systems Engineering

  • In-depth knowledge of international EMC standards (e.g. UNECE Reg10, CISPR, ISO, FCC, GB/T)

  • Strong industry experience in EMC, ideally within the automotive or related sector

  • Proven experience across the full product development lifecycle

  • Experience in delivering robust electrical systems or components

  • A methodical, accurate and resilient approach to engineering challenges

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Logical, structured problem-solving ability

What you can expect:

  • Access to an employee benefits platform offering a range of perks

  • A truly iconic workplace where passion for the ride is more than just a slogan - it's a way of life
