Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, and fabricating piping systems on marine vessels
• Interpreting and working from detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all piping systems meet safety and quality standards
• Conducting pressure tests to verify the integrity and functionality of installed systems
• Collaborating with other trades and marine engineers to complete projects effectively
• Maintaining and organising tools and equipment required for pipefitting tasks
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within piping systems and implementing solutions

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a Pipefitter within the marine industry preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to marine pipefitting
• Flexibility to work on various projects and adapt to changing project needs

Contract Info:

• Contract until end of Dec 2025
• Standard 37 hours Mon - Thurs, with possible Overtime
• Possible requirement for Night Shift
• PAYE only
• £17.07/h Day shift plus £2.06/h holiday pay
• £22.19/h Night shift plus £2.68/h holiday pay
• £23.90/h Overtime after 37 hours plus £2.88/h holiday pay
• Holiday pay can be accrued or advanced
