Our client, a respected entity in the HTP sector, is seeking a proficient Scheme Supervisor to oversee highway projects on a contract basis. This role involves working on-site to ensure groundworks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site groundwork activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Help assist with site preparation, site setup and equipment.
• Assist and manage roadworks being completed by heavy equipment and machinery.
• Travel to site to help assist and manage works being delivered within.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-solve on-site issues and provide leadership to the team.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in highway groundwork and on-site supervision.
• Understanding of project management and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Ability to operate and supervise heavy equipment and machinery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
• Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field.
