Job description

A leading consultancy delivering intelligent transport solutions is seeking an experienced Traffic Signal Engineer to support ongoing projects across the UK.

ey Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality traffic signal design and consultancy services.

• Collaborate within a dedicated team of traffic signal specialists to ensure project excellence.

• Apply industry standards, best practices, and regulatory knowledge to technical outputs.

• Contribute to testing processes including Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 3 years' experience, or HNC/HND in Electrical or Civil Engineering with 5 years' experience.

• Solid understanding of the traffic signals industry and associated regulations.

• Experience with MOVA and SCOOT design (validation experience desirable).

• Familiarity with UTC databases is advantageous.

• Skilled in CAD and design tools such as LinSig and TRANSYT.

• Knowledge of CDM 2015, as well as health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Strong team collaboration and flexibility to adapt to project demands.
