⚓ SHIP TECHNICIAN - BAE SYSTEMS (PORTSMOUTH)
12-Month Contract | Type 45 Destroyers | 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts | PAYE
BAE Systems is seeking skilled Ship Technicians to support critical maintenance and upgrade work on the Royal Navy's Type 45 Destroyers in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class defence project in a long-term, stable role.

🔧 Role Overview:

• Support mechanical, structural, or electrical work aboard Type 45 vessels
• Carry out installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs
• Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Work to MOD and BAE safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with multi-trade teams on a busy shipyard
• Understand Lock out and tag out procedures
• Use of Safe systems of Work
• Ex Navy preferred not required

💷 PAYE Rates:

Shift	Hourly Rate
12-Hour Day Shift	£27.40/hour
12-Hour Night Shift	£33.22/hour
