Job description

Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer to join their team in the Tilbury area. The ideal location for this role includes Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridge, or Northampton, as the need to be in Tilbury is very rare. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge water treatment and pump installation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and handover pump and temporary water treatment setups for major construction and utilities projects within the designated region
• Provide customer training, remote or on-site support, and troubleshooting
• Support the sales team in winning both short and long-term projects
• Assist in creating job-specific work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments
• Undertake on-site routine maintenance and major upgrades/refurbishments at the depot
• Ensure the clean, safe, and well-presented condition of vehicle and workspace
• Complete accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and stock control

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the installation of pumps and/or water treatment systems
• Electro-mechanical skills
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable
• Valid driving licence
• Flexible attitude to adapt to the changing needs of the region
• Strong fitting abilities and problem-solving skills
