Job description
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct project quality activities and promote a positive quality, safety, and environmental culture
- Liaise with clients and suppliers on quality-related topics
- Ensure timely and effective internal and external quality concern investigations
- Undertake internal quality audits, supplier audits, and act as a guide during customer and third-party certification audits
- Conduct and generate First Article Inspection Report reviews/approvals and manage PPAPs for assigned projects
- Facilitate structured 8D problem-solving activities to ensure customer satisfaction and problem recurrence prevention
- Work closely with the QHSE Manager to implement, maintain, and improve the business management system at the local facility
- Engage with suppliers, execute cross-functional collaboration, and handle drawings confidently
- Provide quality assurance to the senior leadership team during periods of rapid growth
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent Quality discipline
- Qualified Lead Auditor for ISO9001, with ISO14001 and ISO45001 highly desirable
- Experience with APQP and PPAP is advantageous
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills
