Job description
Our client, a leading player in the data centre construction industry, is seeking a talented Construction Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on a major data centre project, contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge solutions in a thriving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with designers to ensure design requirements are met
- Assist Design Manager in preparing submittals and seeking approvals
- Develop and manage RFI & Submittal registers
- Attend weekly design meetings
- Prepare subcontract packages
- Ensure compliance with management systems as outlined in the contract documentation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related qualification
- Proficiency in producing and presenting drawings using AutoCAD
- Experience developing technical submittals and completing technical reviews and assessments
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures
- Process-driven with a focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
