Our client, a leading company in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced specialist systems that provide defence customers with a formidable technological edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits
• Analyse electronic circuits
• Generate requirements for electronic systems
• Capture schematics and designs
• Provide PCB layout advice and review
• Select and review components
• Undertake varied engineering tasks to support projects and programmes
• Participate in internal and external meetings
• Interface with customers on technical and project issues
• Document work in line with local operating procedures
• Engage in Continuous Improvement activities

Job Requirements:

• Experience in electronics design
• Expertise in developing and analysing electronic circuits
• Ability to capture schematics and designs
• Knowledge of PCB layout advice and review processes
• Proficiency in selecting and reviewing components
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in interfacing with customers on technical issues
• Understanding of local operating procedures and documentation standards
