About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Documentation Specialist to support a globally respected engineering organisation operating in the aerospace sector. This hands-on, detail-critical role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in aerospace maintenance documentation or technical authorship who thrives in a precision-focused environment.

The role sits within a highly skilled technical team responsible for engine overhaul and repair across the EMEA region. You will play a key role in ensuring that technical publications, maintenance data, and supporting documentation are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and validate complex technical procedures, publications, and engineering documentation.

  • Ensure maintenance documentation is aligned with regulatory, airworthiness, and internal standards.

  • Compile and audit technical records (including workpacks and maintenance logs) to ensure completeness and traceability.

  • Generate technical reports, cost estimates, and repair summaries in line with quoted scopes of work.

  • Assist in maintaining a compliant document archive system, including scanning and indexing of legacy records.

  • Work closely with engineering and materials teams to ensure accurate part tracking, repair status, and scrap handling.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in aerospace maintenance documentation or technical authorship.

  • Ability to interpret OEM publications, technical procedures, and airworthiness data.

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word for report generation and data handling.

  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation accuracy and process integrity.

  • Effective communicator capable of liaising with technical teams, suppliers, and quality personnel.

  • Familiarity with EASA, FAA, or equivalent airworthiness standards is an advantage.

Why Apply?

  • Join a collaborative and supportive engineering environment.

  • Flexible, part-time working suited to professionals seeking technical engagement without full-time hours.

  • Opportunity to shape and improve documentation processes in a globally recognised aerospace organisation.

  • On-site team culture with hybrid flexibility post-onboarding.
