About The Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Lead QA Automation and Performance Engineer to join us as we scale our infrastructure and operations. Reporting to our Head of QA, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and infrastructure. This role is not just about testing-it's about leading the charge in ensuring that every aspect of our technology is reliable, scalable, and built to support our rapid growth.
You will be at the forefront of defining and implementing automation and performance testing strategies, solving complex technical challenges, and establishing best practices that set the bar for quality at Fora. Beyond technical expertise, you'll be a leader who collaborates across teams to align QA initiatives with business goals, mentors and inspires team members, and advocates for quality in every corner of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement robust automation frameworks and performance testing strategies.
• Lead performance testing efforts to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and advocate for quality standards.
• Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance metrics using tools like DataDog, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
• Define and track quality KPIs aligned with business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years in QA automation and performance testing roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Expertise in automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• API testing experience with tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring QA teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Strongly Preferred:

• Familiarity with tools like Cypress and DataDog.
• Advanced skills in stakeholder communication and strategic planning.
