Job description


Our client, a specialist in the energy, highways, and rail sectors, is seeking three skilled engineers to join their team. These permanent roles are based in either Warrington or Sheffield and are open for professionals specialising in Geotechnical, Drainage, or Temporary Works engineering. This is a prime opportunity for engineers passionate about advancing their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out engineering designs and assessments for the designated specialty area.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure effective implementation of engineering solutions.
  • Performing site investigations and data collection to support project development.
  • Preparing detailed reports and technical documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of engineering projects within deadline constraints.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in one of the following engineering disciplines: Geotechnical, Drainage, or Temporary Works.
  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to your area of expertise.
  • Understanding of applicable industry standards and legislative requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in related engineering software and tools.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
