Job description

Our client, a prominent name in the power utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their talented operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company at the forefront of the electric vehicle charging industry, providing bespoke solutions that contribute to building a sustainable world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing projects related to electric vehicle charging points, substations, and 11kV systems
• Expediting, project management, inspection, and logistics management on a day-to-day basis
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Overseeing budget control and sub-contract management throughout the full project cycle
• Ensuring compliance with NRSWA regulations and NERS/ICP processes
• Coordinating grid connection management activities
• Maintaining high standards of organisation and communication within the team

Job Requirements:

• Experience with ICP/DNO/IDNO projects
• knowledge on LV to 11kv
• Awanresness of Streetworks, CDM Regs and Civils infrastructure
• Experience in grid connection management
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
• Knowledge of NERS/ICP processes and systems
• Relevant certification or training in project management
• Proficiency in budget control and sub-contract management
• desirable site tickets: Streetworks, SMSTS, SSSTS, IOSH and SHEA Power / CSCS
