Job description
Our client, operating within the rail industry, is seeking a PTS Civils Supervisor for a long-term contract in Manchester. This role is part of a significant infrastructure project and falls within IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that adequate site access and welfare facilities are provided and used correctly for all work activities.
- Enforce strict adherence to the Ground Disturbance Procedure / Permit To Dig, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure all plant and equipment are current ('in date') for the allocated tasks.
- Co-ordinate site layout with due regard for site security.
- Supervise and lead the site team in the successful delivery of the allocated contracts.
- Drive site teams to deliver scheduled work
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with all health & safety protocols
Job Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience within rail projects.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
- COSS (Controller of Site Safety) competency, preferred.
- Valid UK driving licence.
