A leader in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a skilled Linesman to join their team on a contract basis. This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines, ensuring the reliable distribution of electricity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:
  Installing and maintaining overhead and underground electrical networks, including poles, towers, and wires.
• Repair:
  Repairing damaged or faulty electrical lines and equipment, including transformers, fuses, and switches.
• Safety:
  Working safely at heights and in all weather conditions, wearing appropriate safety gear.
• Troubleshooting faults and ensuring electrical lines are functioning properly.
• Climbing poles and towers to install, maintain, and repair power lines.
• Digging trenches for underground electrical installations.
• Connecting electrical equipment and ensuring proper functioning according to specifications.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in OLE (Overhead Line Equipment).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for working with high voltage electricity.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults.
• Strong physical fitness and dexterity for climbing and manual tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical works preferred.
