The Role:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within the construction and Engineering sectors. You'll work closely with senior QS professionals, gaining hands-on experience in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
Key Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
  • Support the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor project costs and report on progress
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Help prepare tender documents and contracts
  • Contribute to value engineering and risk assessments

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or working towards it)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with cost management software is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • UK work eligibility and a valid UK driving licence (preferred)
